The Texas Energy Summit – CATEE 2017 is a premiere educational conference and business expo that provides our attendees the opportunity to engage in a lively conversation about cleaner air, a better built environment, sustainability and a new energy economy. The Texas Energy Summit – CATEE 2017 will be held at the Dallas/Plano Marriott at Legacy Town Center in Plano, TX and is hosted by the Texas A&M Energy Systems Laboratory (ESL), a division of the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES), a member of the Texas A&M University System.
We are excited to announce the theme for our 14th annual conference is the Texas Energy Summit, where we continue to build new program offerings for you by reaching out to new energy partners, providing a venue to learn about state of the art energy innovations and focusing on energy and energy management in Texas.
The program features one day of pre-conference workshops and tours of some of DFW’s shining examples of sustainable commercial buildings and manufacturing facilities and two full days of conference sessions with exciting keynotes, specific conference tracks to include energy/water nexus, renewable energy, intelligent building design, energy efficiency IOT, and more.
This year’s Texas Energy Summit will provide you the opportunity to engage with industry experts, state and local policy makers, community and business leaders, researchers, facility and energy managers, design and development professionals, utility and energy service experts, and more in a lively conversation about cleaner air, a better built environment, and a new energy economy.
The Texas Energy Summit, rotated annually among Texas metropolitan regions, will provide a forum to:
share information on state and local energy efficiency, renewable energy, and air quality policies; raise awareness of the importance of energy efficiency, renewable energy, and sustainability measures for the state’s economic well-being as Texas; highlight and celebrate successful policies and programs being implemented to achieve emissions reductions and related environmental and economic benefits; explore the growing importance of the Energy/Water Nexus; and consider the exciting new advances in intelligent building design, Smart Cities and energy efficiency Internet of Things (IOT), including manufacturing/industrial IOT.
