Texas Energy Independence Week 2013 March 4 - 6, 2013 Multiple locations * Austin, Texas

During the last several legislative sessions, the Texas Renewable Energy Industries Association (TREIA) has focused attention on the role of renewable energy in helping Texas become more energy independent. We declare a week near the March 2 date of Texas’ independence from Mexico as Texas Energy Independence Week 2013 (TEIW). This year dozens of TREIA members, renewable enthusiasts, and legislators and/or their staff participated in this year's Texas Energy Independence Week activities, which took place March 4 - 6.
