On January 29, 2009, the British Consulate, in partnership with the Environmental Defense Fund, will host Texas' Changing Economic Climate: Risks and Opportunities in a Carbon Constrained World . To be held at the Texas State Capitol in Austin, Texas, this event will provide Texas legislative, business, and community leaders insights on how climate change impacts can open possibilities for innovative economic frameworks using processes developed in the United Kingdom as a model.
