The Texas Renewable Energy Industries Association is a nonprofit organization in the State of Texas. Our mission is to:

• Establish an effective relationship with our local, state, and national governments.

• Increase public awareness of the "here and now" contribution of renewables, as well as of their vast potential.

• Aggressively promote the use of renewable energy.

• Encourage high business and professional ethics and standards.

TREIA's objectives are to:

• Provide cooperation and liaison with other persons, organizations and institutions having an interest in the utilization of renewable energy in a constructive and beneficial manner.

• Cooperate in and contribute toward the enhancement of widespread understanding of the various applications of renewable energy.

• Engage in any lawful activities which will enhance the efficient and economic character, such as, but not limited to, collecting and disseminating trade statistics and other useful information.

• Carry on and assist in research investigations and experiments; to conduct conferences and produce publications; to conduct trade promotion activities.

• Cooperate with such private or governmental bodies, corporations, associations, institutions, societies, agencies or persons as are now or may hereafter be engaged in whole or in part in furtherance of the objectives and purposes herein named.
