The North American Development Bank (NADB) is proud to present the XXIII Border Energy Forum, which brings together local and state officials, private sector developers and investors, academics, large commercial users, and energy experts from the U.S. and Mexico. As the only U.S.-Mexico development bank, NADB has had the opportunity to participate in some of the most relevant clean energy projects developed in the last five years in the border region. NADB has financed close to US$1.5 billion for 35 projects representing total estimated investments of US$5.2 billion. Roughly, 2,548 MW of new generation capacity is being installed along the border.
The forum dialogue will center on such topics as energy prosperity, innovation, financing, the future of energy markets, cross-border opportunities along the U.S.-Mexico border, and how to continue building partnerships to advance the energy goals of both countries, which ultimately improve economic development and protect the environment.
