February 28th: Business Conference
JW Marriott, Washington, DC
Distributed Wind 2019 is the annual business conference of the Distributed Wind Energy Association. This one-day conference brings together turbine manufacturers, project developers, thought leaders and government program managers for a comprehesive overview of business opportunities in the U.S. distributed wind industry. The day before, Wednesday, February 27th, is DWEA's annual "Day on the Hill", where our members and guests will meet with members of Congress and the administration to discuss policies affecting the industry.
Did you know that the US-DOE and NREL have helped lower small wind costs by over 60%, making U.S. turbines competitive with imported solar?
DW19's Conference Sessions Include:
CEO's and Thought Leader's Panel: Industry Business Outlook for 2019
U.S. Dept. of Energy and Nat'l Labs: New Initiatives to Broaden the Market and Lower Costs, including new work on Microgrids and Defense and Disaster Deployable Turbine Systems
Two "Lightning Round" Sessions with New Distributed Wind Products and Services, 14 in all
